Mrs. Daisy Edwards, age 66, of Bainbridge, died Saturday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Wray of Columbus. Mrs. Edwards had been in ill health for several months. Her husband, Frank Edwards, preceded her in death several years ago. Mrs. Edwards has lived in and around Bainbridge all her life and is a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Edwards was born March 11, 1876 in Detrich, Ill,  the daughter of Lucy and James Prather. She leaves four children, Geddes Priest of Bainbridge, Arthur Wray of Columbus James and Frank Edwards of Indianapolis. Two others preceded her In death. She also leaves five grandchildren and one great grandchild, Mrs. Julian Steele and Mrs. James Pickett of Greencastle, Misses Betty and Joanne Galbreath of Columbus, Shirley Yvonne Edwards of Indianapolis and Patricia Sue Steele of Greencastle. She leaves three sisters, Mrs. Walter Riggles of Roachdale, Mrs. J. E. Byers and Mrs. Cora Bartholomew of Indianapolis, and one brother, John Prather, also a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Sands Funeral Home in Bainbridge, in charge of Rev. C. L. Airhart of New Market. Burial was in the Roachdale cemetery. – kbz
